We do not provide Supported Independent Living (SIL) staff.
This separation is vital for your autonomy. It means you can move into one of our SDA rental properties and bring your preferred support workers with you. You are never pushed to use a “partnered” SIL provider, ensuring you maintain 100% control over who supports you in your own home.

Can I Live with Family or Friends in an SDA Home?
Yes! We believe your home should support your relationships.
Many participants are unaware of Appendix H – a provision within the NDIS pricing rules. This allows NDIS participants with SDA funding to live with non-SDA funded people. This includes:
- Family Members: Partners, parents, children, or siblings.
- Friends & Co-tenants: People you choose to live with.
This provision helps you maintain important relationships and living arrangements in your new home. Disability Housing Solutions will work closely with you and your Support Co-ordinator to explore these options and facilitate a home that keeps your loved ones together.
